Sports News Review – Manchester United beats West Ham United, Rosberg wins Belgian GP

Premier League had two games on today’s program. Duel between West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough ended in a goalless draw, while Manchester United celebrated against West Ham United with 3-1.

Simone Zaza will move to West Ham United. Italian arrives in London on loan from Juventus, but the Hammers will have to pay 25 million euros for him at the end of the season.

Shkodran Mustafi is the new player of Arsenal. German international will sign five-year deal with the Gunners. Mustafi wore Valencia jersey last season.

Serie A had some pretty interesting games on schedule today. In the first match of the day, Inter and Palermo played 1-1. Crotone lost to Genoa 3-0, Sampdoria defeated Atalanta 2-1, Udinese beat Empoli 2-0 and Cagliari and Roma played 2-2. Sassuolo won against Pescara 2-1, Torino demolished Bologna 5-1 and Fiorentina got the 1-0 win over ChievoVerona.

Nikola Maksimovic is very close to leaving Torino, as he could move to Manchester City. Maksimovic has not been practicing with the team for two weeks now, as he is very unhappy with the organization for not letting him sign with Napoli.

LaLiga Santander saw three games today. Alaves and Sporting Gijon played without scoring, Las Palmas demolished Granada 5-1, Barcelona got the minimal away win against Athletic Bilbao, while Villarreal and Sevilla ended their match against each other in a goalless tie.

Two matches of the 1st round of Bundesliga took place today. Hertha Berlin recorded 2-1 victory over Freiburg, while the match between Hoffenheim and RasenBallsport Leipzig ended with the score 2-2.

French Ligue 1 had three matches on the program today. Bordeaux beat Nantes, as Diego Rolan scored the only goal of the match. The game between Saint-Etienne and Toulouse ended in a goalless draw. In the last game of the day, Monaco got the important 3-1 win over Paris Saint Germain.

In four matches of Eredivisie, PSV Eindhoven and FC Groningen played without scoring, ADO Den Haag and Heracles drew 1-1, Go Ahead Eagles lost to Ajax 0-3 at home while AZ Alkmaar beat NEC Nijmegen 2-0.

In Belgian Pro League, Club Brugge and Standard Liege played 2-2, as did Anderlecht and Gent. Genk won against Zulte-Waregem 1-0.

In Portugal Primeira Liga, Boavista and Chaves played 2-2, Moreirense lost to Maritimo 0-1 and Sporting CP defeated Porto 2-1.

Nico Rosberg is the winner of the Belgian Grand Prix, but the highlight of the race was not the German driver but many crashes. First of all, there was a contact of two Ferrari vehicles at the start of the race, with lots of others hitting the crowd, so many drivers were forced to take pit stops and change damaged parts. During the sixth lap Kevin Magnussen lost control over his car and hit the fence, but fortunately did not suffer any serious injury. Second to cross the finish line was Daniel Ricciardo. The chaos of the day was best used by ruling champion Lewis Hamilton, finishing third even though he started the race as second to last.
