We start the daily review with ATP Shanghai, where we saw another victory for Novak Djokovic. World number one continued his dominance and recorded 15th victory in a row. However, Bernard Tomic put up a fight and Djokovic had the most difficult match on Chinese soil this autumn. Australian player managed to re-break Djokovic in the first set and we saw a very interesting tie-break, which Djokovic won by 8:6. After that the match went downhill for the Aussie and in the second set Djokovic cruised to a comfortable victory, allowing his opponent to win only one game.
In the first match of the day Jo Wilfried Tsonga defeated Kevin Anderson by 7:6, 5:7, 6:4 in a very exciting match. Anderson had chances to win the first set and he was the better player for the most part of the match, but the Frenchman came on top in the end.
Rafael Nadal dominated over Stan Wawrinka, defeating him by 6:2, 6:1. Everybody expected a very interesting and tense match, but Wawrinka had too many unforced errors and he reminded us how unpredictable and unstable he was several years ago, before Grand Slam titles.
Murray also played an excellent match and defeated Tomas Berdych by 6:1, 6:3. Murray will face Djokovic in the semis, while Nadal will play against Tsonga.
In Bundesliga one match was played tonight. Borussia Dortmund defeated Mainz on the road by 2:0. Reus scored the first goal in the first half and failed to convert a penalty in the beginning of the second half and probably finish off the opponent. Fortunately for Borussia, Mkhitaryan scored second goal in 83rd minute.
In Ligue 1 also one match was played tonight. Monaco and Lyon drew, 1:1.
Spanish veteran striker Raul decided to finish his career at the end of the season. Real Madrid legend, who was the best goal scorer in the history of Real Madrid with 323 goals until this year, will retire as a New York Cosmos player at the end of the NASL season.
In Euroleague, six matches were played tonight. Lokomotiv Kuban defeated Panathinaikos by 81:70, after excellent final quarter, which they won by 18:9. Singleton led the hosts with 16 points, while Raduljica scored 15 for the visitors.
Fenerbahce defeated Bayern Munich by 74:67, much harder than it was expected of them. The German club led by 20:10 after first quarter and they saved their lead until the last several minutes. However, hosts played much better in the decisive moments and won the last quarter by 22:8. Datome scored 15 points for the winning team, while Renfroe and Djedovic scored 14 points each for the visitors.
Khimki surprised reigning champions Real Madrid and defeated them by 84:70. Todorovic led the winning team with 15 points, while Llull scored 20 points for the visiting team.
Zielona Gora was defeated at home against Zalgiris, the result was 62:66. Moldoveanu scored 16 points for the hosts, while Jankunas scored 17 for the visitors.
Anadolu Efes defeated Limoges on the road by 89:77. Boungou and Traore scored 12 points each for the hosts, while Diebler scored 21 points for Efes.
Milano defeated Laboral Kutxa by 78:76. McLean scored 13 points for Milano, while Bourousis scored 16 points for the visiting team.
In NFL, one match was played late last night. New Orleans Saints defeated Atlanta Falcons by 31:21.
